This morning I uploaded my insurance details to the IVHQ site, such as, whom the policy is held with and the policy number. Another one ticked off the list. I’m just waiting for the criminal record check to come through now. It should only take around two weeks, so I will be able to upload that to IVHQ fairly soon.
I wasn’t able to get a head lamp instore from Go Outdoors, and they suggested that I try their online site and get one from there.
The one I need to buy is a Petzl, rechargeable head lamp and a small solar panel. I’m seeing my sister Cheryl and her husband Rick on Sunday, so I’ll ask Rick about it then. There’s a few that I’ve been looking at as I will need a rechargeable battery that’s compatible with the solar panel. It also needs to be the model with the red and the white light. I’m told that the red light is used to preserve your night vision, especially when you are writing or typing at night. It allows you to see without the glare from a white light and won’t disturb your roommates either. It’s definitely something that I must buy for my trip as it will be so useful for what I will be doing.
Twenty weeks and Three days to go … Really excited.
